Therapeutic Group Home (TGH) & Psychiatric Residential Treatment (PRT) II

The Program

This group home is located in Magee, MS and provides Therapeutic Treatment Services for adolescent male’s ages 12 to 18 years with a history of psychiatric illness and inappropriate sexual behavior.  Typically, these adolescents have previously been treated in acute and/or residential settings.  The program is a community—based program that provides scheduled activities within a modified positive peer culture.

The Treatment

The treatment approach is based on relapse prevention, victim awareness and prevention, limit—setting, and vocational and educational services.

The Staff

Millcreek’s Therapeutic Group Home provides close supervision by trained employees’ 24-hours a day.  The staff receives specialized training and daily supervision regarding intensive behavior management and other therapeutic interventions.
