Therapeutic Group Homes (TGH)

The Program

These group homes are located in Magee, MS and provide Therapeutic Treatment Services for adolescent male’s ages 12 to 18 years with a history of psychiatric illness.  Typically, these adolescents have previously been treated in acute and/or residential settings.  The program is a community—based program that provides scheduled activities within a modified positive peer culture.

The Treatment

The treatment utilizes a cognitive behavioral team approach and includes vocational and educational services.

The Staff

The Therapeutic Group Homes provide close supervision by trained employees’ 24-hours a day.  The staff receives specialized training and daily supervision regarding intensive behavior management and other therapeutic interventions.
