Millcreek Behavioral Health prides itself in the superior behavioral healthcare and educational services that we have been providing for children and adolescents in the state of Mississippi for over 30 years. Remaining true to our dedication to helping children lead healthier, more productive lives, we offer a vast array of programming that is designed to meet the needs of a myriad of mental, behavioral, emotional, educational, and cognitive concerns. We remain steadfast in our goal of affording children and adolescents comprehensive, individualized care that meets each and every concern that they are faced with.
At Millcreek Behavioral Health, we recognize that the youth who come to us require many different levels of care. In order to be an all-encompassing treatment provider, and to be able to help as many children and adolescents as possible, we offer the following programming options:
- Our psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) program is designed to serve males and females between the ages of 6 and 21 who are in need of therapeutic and educational interventions in order be successful in overcoming the behavioral and/or emotional concerns that accompany the presence of psychiatric disturbances.
- Our intermediate care facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ICF/IID) program is the only private program of its type in the state of Mississippi. Offering care to male and female children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 21, this program is designed to provide therapeutic, educational, and life skill interventions for youth who are struggling with cognitive impairments and/or developmental delays.
- Our school-based day treatment services are designed to meet the educational needs of male and female children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 21. This program is tailored to provide therapeutic interventions for behavioral and emotional concerns, while also offering structured academic programming that meets the special education needs of young people.
- Our therapeutic group home services provide care for male adolescents between the ages of 12 and 21 who are struggling with behavioral or emotional disturbances. This program is designed to be a less restrictive option for care that is focused on improving young men’s daily living and occupational skills. Youth in this program are also afforded special education services, community outings, and employment assistance.
All levels of care offered at Millcreek Behavioral Health are specially crafted to ensure that the children and adolescents who are entrusted into our care are provided with every opportunity to learn, develop skills, thrive in their communities, and find ultimate success in their abilities to remain self-confident and independent. At Millcreek Behavioral Health, children and adolescents are taking the first step towards a bright future; towards the future they deserve.
