Millcreek of Magee has been providing behavioral health and educational services to emotionally disturbed and developmentally delayed children and adolescents in the state of Mississippi for over 30 years. 

It is the largest private provider for children and adolescents in the state.  Millcreek of Magee was the first provider of child and adolescent services in Mississippi to receive Joint Commission accreditation in the areas of long term care for mental illness, mental retardation and developmental disabilities.

In 1977, Millcreek of Magee was established as an Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded (ICF/MR).
